QUICK AND EASY TURTLES

 

Ingredients:

  • 8 (1 ounce) squares semi-sweet chocolate
  • 48 pecan halves
  • 12 caramels

Cooking directions: 

Place pecan halves in groups of four with the ends coming together at the center, on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Press 12 caramels flat (to about 1½ inches). Place on center of each pecan group. Melt chocolate, stirring occasionally until melted. Spoon over nuts leaving tips showing. Set in cool place until firm, about 1 hour. Makes 12 turtles. Store in refrigerator.
