POUND CAKE

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 sticks butter
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 10 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup finely chopped pecans

 Cooking directions:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time, stirring after each. Add milk and mix thoroughly. Sift together flour and baking powder. Add to mixture. Add vanilla and pecans. Pour into 10 inch tube pan and cook for 1 hour at 325 degrees. Frost with your favorite frosting.
