PECAN MACAROONS

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 3 egg whites
  • Pinch of salt
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 quart pecans, chopped but not too small

Cooking directions:

Beat egg whites with salt until stiff. Fold in white sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, flour and pecans. Drop on well greased cookie sheet and bake at 250c degrees for 2 hours. Take up immediately.
