MAPLE COOKIES

 

 

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon maple flavoring
  • 3½ cups flour
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Cooking directions:

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Mix ingredients and blend into mixture. Form into sausage like rolls, wrap in waxed paper or plastic wrap and refrigerate over night or freeze. Slice about ¼ inch thick. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Remove immediately.
