DELICIOUS BROWNIES
Ingredients:
- 1 cup oleo
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Cooking directions:
Mix oleo, cocoa and water in saucepan and bring to rapid boil. Pour over flour and sugar and stir. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour into greased and floured 11x16 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
Icing:
- 1 stick oleo
- 4 tablespoons cocoa
- 6 tablespoons milk
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Boil oleo, cocoa and milk. Remove from heat and beat in remaining ingredients. Spread on brownies while both are still hot.
