CREAM CHEESE SQUARES

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 box yellow or lemon cake mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 cup chopped nuts             

Cooking directions:

Mix ingredients and press down in a 9x13 inch pyrex dish.

Topping:

  • 8 ounce carton cream cheese, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 box confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix topping ingredients thoroughly and spread on cake mixture.

Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. Let cool and cut in squares.
