CHOCOLATE CHESS PIE

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 9 inch pie shell, unbaked
  • 1½ cups sugar
  • 3 Tablespoons cocoa
  • ¼ cup melted margarine
  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • 1 (5.33 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ¾ cup chopped pecans

Cooking directions:

Mix sugar, cocoa and margarine. Stir well. Add eggs and beat with mixer for 21 minutes. Add salt, milk and vanilla. Stir in pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
